WHO ARE WE

Pocono Regional Citizens Group is a diverse group of Pocono residents, dedicated to to saving our forests, wetlands, creeks, wildlife and our quality of living. We choose to live in harmony with nature.

We have crossed political, religious, socioeconomic, cultural as well as township lines.  We are locals and transplants stand together for a greater good.

We as community members have made it our mission to protect our citizens, pristine waters, environment and wildlife.

We will work with anyone that will work with us for the protection and improvement of this precious ecosystem.

Over the course of 2022 and part of 2023, we have managed to delay construction of 2 new warehouses in Pocono township, collaborated with Board of Commissioners, Brodhead watershed association and a number of other environmental organizations and citizen groups in facilitating curative amendment to township’s SALDO as well as supported and encouraged further SALDO updates.

We have also been working with lawyers, engineers, real estate agents and other relevant professionals to strengthen our case in stopping these disruptive and destructive developments in our neighborhoods for good.

While everyone in this group is strictly unpaid volunteer, we are an officially registered 501(c)(3) organization, so your donations are tax deductible.
